Our Coaching and Class Philosophy
Chelsea Strength and Conditioning coaches are here to instruct athletes and maintain a safe, inclusive environment to help you meet your personal fitness goals. Our programming is adaptable for all fitness abilities including those on injury journeys. The class environment fosters a fun and unique community with people from all over Southeast Michigan. We can't wait to show you why Chelsea Strength and Conditioning is the best gym there is!
Class Descriptions
Foundations
These introductory sessions are designed to safely integrate new members into classes. During your intro-session period, new members may also attend unlimited classes, with movements scaled and/or modified as needed. There are no additional costs for class attendance during this time. Scheduled based on availability.

Workout of the Day (WOD)

The workout of the day is designed to build strength, endurance, and agility through functional movements. Combining barbell lifts, bodyweight exercises, and cardio aspects, this class challenges your whole body while keeping workouts dynamic and engaging. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class allows you to scale movements to match your abilities and progress over time.

CHIME
Conditioning and High Intensity through Max Effort (CHIME) classes are all the fun minus the barbell. These classes focus on movements such as ball slams, box jumps, battle ropes, and feet-elevated push ups.

Olympic Lifting
Every Saturday has one hour dedicated to training the clean and jerk and the snatch lifts. Under the direction of our coaches, this is a great way to learn and practice barbell movements!

Fit for Life
Fit for Life classes focus on skills such as balance and mobility. Programmed with seniors in mind, all ages are welcome to attend and will definitely benefit and sweat!

Teen Performance
These classes are the perfect complement to high school sports during the off season. Focusing on agility and strength, teen athletes will also learn teamwork and proper technique along the way.
